A counselor's caseload lives in systems that do not talk to each other, and the letters and verification requests that fall out of them eat your evenings. There are two ways to use Eformogi, and which one is yours depends on whether you co-sign what you saw or hold the learners yourself.
Two paths, stated plainly
You co-sign what you saw. If you are a school counselor and the learner belongs to a school that already issues, your part is the signature. The counselor view is free for that, and it stays free because witnessing is free by architecture: a signature costs us nothing to carry, and the record it lands on was never ours. There is no card, no trial clock, and no upgrade nag.
You issue records for the learners you hold. If you are a counselor or an independent consultant who holds learners, whether that is a homeschool caseload, a small program, or a practice families come to for the record itself, you are an issuer. Founding issuers get a free founding year through June 30, 2027, then pay $49 per learner per year, billed to the issuer and never to the family; founding issuers keep that price for as long as they issue, and if an issuer stops paying, its learners keep the record and its export. The two moments this was built for
A family withdraws in October to homeschool, and they leave your office with questions no handout answers. A student arrives in ninth grade with three years of homeschool records in a folder, and someone has to turn that folder into credits and a schedule. Both moments run on paperwork that was never designed for them.
Eformogi gives you something to hand the leaving family that is not a handout: a record they claim and keep, which holds their courses and evidence from the day they walk out. And it gives the returning family a record you can actually work with: courses, evidence, and co-signatures from the teachers and tutors who were there, checkable at a public link in thirty seconds. The evaluation stays yours. The evidence stops being a shoebox.
One signature instead of a hundred forms
When a family issues their own Witness Transcript™, every college that receives it asks the same question you would ask: says who? Your co-signature on a course or a plan is the answer. One act by a person with standing is what makes a family-issued record credible to the people receiving it.
That act was always the real job. You vouch for what you saw a student actually do. Everything around it, the re-keying, the chasing, the filing, is what the system should absorb, and it is what Eformogi absorbs. Your caseload view shows every family that has chosen to share their record with you, ready to read. There is nothing to re-enter and no second copy for you to maintain, because the family's copy is the record.
What is live today
Everything in this list is running now. Nothing on this page is a roadmap.
- The caseload dashboard is free and takes about five minutes to set up. Every family that has consented to share with you appears on one screen.
- Profiles arrive through consent, not through upload. A family shares through a consent link, sees exactly which fields you will receive, and can revoke later. What you see is what they chose to show you.
- Shared courses come with a graduation readiness read. The dashboard runs the family's course list against a published rule set, New York homeschool today, and shows recorded units against required ones. It is deterministic, so it gives the same answer every time.
- Monthly parent reports draft themselves from what the family has shared. You review the draft and release it, and nothing goes out without you.
- Witness co-signing runs on the family's request link. When a family asks you to co-sign a course, the link opens to exactly what you are being asked to sign, with no account to create and nothing to install. The signed receipt can then be verified by anyone the family shares it with.
What your district's counsel will ask
Counselors ask this early and they are right to. Here are the five facts about how the system works, so that the people who decide policy in your district can read them and reach their own conclusion.
- The family holds the record. It lives with the parent, or with the student once they turn eighteen, and not in a third-party tool that holds it on their behalf.
- Every downstream share is the family's decision. When a college, a scholarship program, or an employer asks for a field, the family grants it. Their standing rules decline fields like Social Security numbers and home addresses at the source, so data they never sent is data nobody has to answer for.
- Every action leaves a receipt with a timestamp and a named identity. A consent share, a co-signature, a report you release: if a parent or a state auditor later asks who saw what and when, the answer has a citation instead of a recollection.
- Nothing is sold. There is no advertising, no data brokerage, and no third party who receives a record because we sent it.
- Export and deletion are the family's. They can take the whole record out in an open format at any time, and they can delete it, without asking us or you.
One statute is worth naming as a fact rather than a conclusion. Under 34 CFR 99.3 an education record is one that is directly related to a student and maintained by the school or by a party acting for the school, and under 34 CFR 99.10 parents and eligible students have the right to inspect and review those records. Here is what this product does, so the people who decide policy in your district can apply that to it: you upload no school document, you are asked only for what you personally observed, and the record your signature lands on is held by the family rather than by your district or by us. Your district's counsel decides what follows from that. If you are a school employee, sign from a personal address unless your district tells you otherwise, and confirm only what you saw yourself.

What it costs
The record is free for the learner, forever: capturing, witnessing, issuing, exporting, and verifying never cost the family anything. Schools, microschools, and counselors who issue on the record get a free founding year through June 30, 2027, then pay $49 per learner per year, billed to the issuer and never to the family; founding issuers keep that price for as long as they issue, and if an issuer stops paying, its learners keep the record and its export. Receivers verify a single link free, forever; an office that wants a hosted verification service at volume can ask us. Families who want their state paperwork rendered and filed can add Family Pro for $99 per year, which is included for every learner an issuer enrolls; the enrollment and service-hours letters cost $12 each, the good-student letter is free while insurers are new to family-issued records, and the record itself is never behind any of it.
Co-signing is on the free side of that line and stays there. It is written into the rules the company holds itself to, and our release tests fail if a change breaks it.

Who this is for
The witness path is for school counselors with a college-going caseload, where the school or the family issues and your signature travels with the record. The issuer path is for independent counselors and consultants who hold the learners themselves, and who serve homeschool, mastery-based, and other alternative-pathway families. Either way, your signature is the part only you can give.
The learner holds the record
Eformogi was built by a school counselor, twenty years in the seat. The conviction underneath the product is simple. The record of a student's learning belongs to the student and their family, and a counselor's authority was never custody of that record. It was testimony. You can witness that record or issue it, and in both cases the learner holds the keys and the export, so nothing is lost except the filing, and the filing was never the job.
