A school or learning center without a records office ends up doing the job anyway, late and by hand. A family asks for a transcript and gets a PDF the receiving office has no way to check. The three moments this was built for
The first is the transcript request. A family applying to a college, a scholarship, or a job asks you for a transcript. You produce a letter or a PDF on your letterhead, and the office receiving it has no way to check it beyond calling you. Some do not call. They set it aside.
The second is the compliance filing. New York wants an IHIP and quarterly reports. An ESA program wants an expense report. The same courses get typed into a different form each time, and the paperwork lands on whoever is nearest.
The third is the departure. A family moves, switches to another school, or graduates, and everything you knew about that learner stays in your files. They start over with a folder.
The founding issuer offer
A records office for your learners, free for the founding year. Every student you enroll gets a record they hold: the courses and work you taught, signed by the teacher who taught them, verifiable by any college, employer, or scholarship program at a public link with no account and no phone call to you. The founding year runs through June 30, 2027.
Your name in the founding cohort. The first schools and learning centers to issue on the standard are listed as founding issuers, on this page and in the acknowledgments of the specification.
A seat in the spec working group. The record format is published at eformogi.com/spec and is being developed as an open standard. Founding issuers sit in the working group that decides what a record must show, how a witness is identified, and how a jurisdiction such as a New York IHIP or an ESA report renders from it.
After the founding year, $49 per learner per year. Schools, microschools, and counselors who issue on the record get a free founding year through June 30, 2027, then pay $49 per learner per year, billed to the issuer and never to the family; founding issuers keep that price for as long as they issue, and if an issuer stops paying, its learners keep the record and its export. There is no setup fee, no per-transcript fee, and no per-verification fee.
What you do
- Import your roster. Paste it into the Records tab of your dashboard, one learner per line as name, family email, and grade. A CSV export pasted whole works too. The family email is optional, and you can email every family a claim link in the same step.
- Declare courses and ask each teacher to co-sign. Pick the learners who took the course, describe it once, and every one of them gets a signed course receipt. Add the teacher's email and that teacher gets a co-sign request they answer from a link, with no login and no account. A signature says the teacher was there and this is what they saw. It does not grade, compare, or certify.
- Every family claims the record and keeps it. The claim link binds the record to the family, who can then add to it, export it, share it, and revoke a share. You are the issuer and they are the holder, and that does not change if they leave you.
Expect about one hour of setup for a small school and a few minutes per teacher per term. The whole path is written out on the start page.
What the learner gets
- A record they hold, on their own device and in an encrypted cloud copy.
- Every course, hour, and piece of work you issued, with the teacher's signature attached.
- A transcript view a college can read and verify at a link, and the state filings their family needs, included while the school issues on the record.
- Export at any time, in a format any conforming implementation can read. Leaving you, or leaving us, never costs them the record.
- A receipt for every share, and the ability to revoke one.
The record is free for the learner, forever, and receivers verify a single link free, forever; an office that wants a hosted verification service at volume can ask us. State filings are included for the learners you enroll, so a family in your school does not need Family Pro to get them rendered.

What Eformogi does not do
- We do not accredit. A signed record says who taught what and who witnessed it. It does not make your school accredited, and we will not describe it that way.
- We do not give legal advice. Whether a record satisfies a state requirement, a college policy, or a scholarship rule is a question for that receiver, and where it matters we quote the receiver's own published policy.
- We do not grade or compare learners. There are no averages and no peer comparison on the learner's surface.
- We do not lock the record. The format is published. If we stop existing, the verifier still runs.
Who this is for right now
Small schools and learning centers in New York first, then networks. If your students already receive a transcript from a registered school with a records office, you may not need this. If a family asking you for a transcript is a familiar moment, you do.

Eformogi was built by a school counselor, twenty years in the seat. The conviction underneath this offer is plain. A record of learning belongs to the learner, and the school that taught them is its witness, not its owner. When the learner holds the record and takes it with them when they leave, nothing is lost except the filing cabinet.
