When a student or family issues a record through Eformogi, the receiver verifies it directly — no Eformogi account, no login, no prior agreement. Below are the categories of receivers who do, what each one verifies, and how verification actually works. Anyone can verify a record for free; receivers only pay to verify at scale, and families never pay for the record.

Published-policy guides
Some receivers publish what they ask of homeschool families. These guides map each receiver's own published policy — linked as the source of truth — to what a family-issued record provides, including, plainly, the parts it doesn't. They are policy mappings, not acceptance claims: the decision is always the receiver's.

Any receiver can verify an Eformogi record for free, with no account and no prior agreement — colleges and conservatories, scholarship foundations, employers and apprenticeship sponsors, transfer registrars at the next school, licensing and clearance investigators, and insurance or visa adjudicators. Verification is a public, login-free action: the receiver opens the link, confirms the SHA-256 hash proves the document wasn't altered after issuance, and reads any teacher or counselor co-signatures. Acceptance of the underlying claims is always the receiver's decision; verification just makes the record trustworthy enough to act on.
Does a receiver need an Eformogi account to verify a record?
No. Opening a verify link, reading the claim and its hash, and seeing co-signatures are free forever and require no login. Receivers only pay when they verify at scale through the API or integrate verification into their own systems — never for a single-link check, and families never pay for the record.
How does a receiver know a self-issued record is real?
Two layers. First, integrity: the SHA-256 hash proves the document is byte-for-byte what was issued — any edit breaks the verification URL. Second, corroboration: a teacher, coach, counselor, or supervisor who was there can co-sign a specific course or work sample, which turns a self-attested record into one backed by a named human. The verify page shows exactly who signed and is honest that an un-co-signed record is self-attested.
