Someone asked you to witness a record.

A student, a family, or a school sent you a link because you were there. This page says what signing means before you decide, and you can read all of it without an account.

What signing means

You confirm what you saw. A course you taught, a project you supervised, hours a student worked, a job they did well. You write it in your own words, and your sentence is what a reader sees on the student's Witness Transcript™.

You do not grade the student, rank them against anyone, or vouch for a school or a program. You are not asked to predict how they will do next. If you would rather not sign, close the tab. Nothing happens, and nobody is told you declined.

What is stored when you sign

• Your name, as you type it.
• Your role and how you know the student, as you describe them.
• Your statement, and the date you signed.
• A one-way hash of your email address, so a later signature from the same address matches this one. The address itself is not written down.
• How far your identity was checked, as a fact: an email address, a verified school or organization domain or a professional license, a checked identity document, or a history of earlier signatures. That fact describes the check, not you.

What is never stored

• No document from you. Nothing to upload.
• No account, no password, no login. Signing is one page.
• No email address in the record, only the hash above.

There are no reminders

If you do not sign, you will not hear from us again about it. There is no follow-up email, no second link, and no notification to the person who asked. A request that goes unanswered simply stays unanswered.

Who holds the record

The family or the school that asked you holds it, and the student keeps it when they leave either one. They can revoke a shared link at any time, and your signature goes with it. Eformogi is a record of learning the student owns, witnessed by the adults who were there, verifiable at one link with no login, and issued by the schools and counselors who hold the learners.

What a receiver sees

A college, employer, insurer, or program that opens the link sees your name, your role, how you know the student, your sentence, the date, and how far your identity was checked. It does not see your email address. It needs no account to check any of it, and the receiver's own published policy says what it needs.
