Verification is a public, login-free action across every category above. The receiver's own published policy says what it needs beyond that. Checking the link only proves the record was not altered after issuance and shows who, if anyone, co-signed it.
How a receiver verifies in 30 seconds

Published-policy guides
Some receivers publish what they ask of homeschool families. These guides map each receiver's own published policy (linked as the source of truth) to what a family-issued record provides, including, plainly, the parts it doesn't. They are policy mappings, not acceptance claims: the decision is always the receiver's.
Eformogi is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any institution named below. Each guide links that institution's own published page as the source of truth, and only that page is authoritative.
Colleges
- Fordham: its published guidance says the transcript “may be prepared by a parent”
- SUNY New Paltz: its published policy names a transcript OR IHIP copies, a portfolio, or quarterly reports
- Binghamton: IHIP, portfolio, or quarterlies are the required evidence; the transcript is optional
- Pace: same documents as all first-years, plus Pace's own homeschool form; SAT/ACT explicitly optional

Who accepts a student-issued or homeschool transcript?
The receiver's own published policy says what it needs, and the policies we have read are mapped on this page. What is true of every receiver is that the record is verifiable at one link: colleges and conservatories, scholarship foundations, employers and apprenticeship sponsors, transfer registrars at the next school, licensing and clearance investigators, and insurance or visa adjudicators can all open it with no account and no prior agreement. The receiver opens the link, confirms the SHA-256 hash proves the document was not altered after issuance, and reads any teacher or counselor co-signatures.
Does a receiver need an Eformogi account to verify a record?

How does a receiver know a self-issued record is real?
Two layers. First, integrity: the SHA-256 hash proves the document is byte-for-byte what was issued. Any edit breaks the verification URL. Second, corroboration: a teacher, coach, counselor, or supervisor who was there can co-sign a specific course or work sample, which turns a self-attested record into one backed by a named human. The verify page shows exactly who signed and is honest that an un-co-signed record is self-attested.
My institution publishes a policy for family-issued records. How do we get listed?
Tell us, and send the page it is published on. We map published policies and how each office prefers to receive a record.
