Will Binghamton accept a homeschool application — and what do they actually want?

Most families assume the transcript is the centerpiece of a homeschool application. Binghamton's published guidance inverts that: for New York residents, the required admission-review evidence is the IHIP, a complete portfolio, or three years of quarterly reports — and the transcript is listed as optional. The §100.10 paperwork a NY family files every year is the application evidence here. Their page also says, in its own words, that Binghamton “is happy to accept and review applications from students who received their education through home-schooling experiences.”

Eformogi is not affiliated with or endorsed by Binghamton University, and nothing here claims Binghamton accepts Eformogi. Every fact below comes from Binghamton's home-schooled applicants page, which is the source of truth. Admissions policies change every cycle — read their page before you apply.
